Presgrave Place, Melbourne VIC

I’ve always liked this little back alley (it runs off Howey Place which is off Little Collins) and tried shooting it a few different times but never got anything worth printing. Then one day when I was out and about I walked past, saw this little scene and thought ‘There’s got to be a shot here’. What I should have done next is ask the guy if he’d mind if I took a quick shot, just in case. What I actually did was take the shot first while he wasn’t looking (insurance) then I went up to him and asked if I could take a shot. He reluctantly said yes so I took another shot. It’s exactly how I saw it, it’s not set up and I didn’t ask him to pose. It’s just one of those interesting scenes you see in Melbourne from time to time and I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

Print comes with the white border, ready to go into a standard A3 or A2 frame. Archival paper using genuine Canon inks. Sent rolled in a heavy duty mailing tube usually within 2-3 days.
