As so often happens, I didn’t head out that night to get this particular shot but was after something completely different. It’s not often that I’ll go out with a specific image in mind and actually come back with it and not something else. On this night I wanted the little penguins that nest in the rocks at the end of St Kilda pier. I didn’t see any, got bored waiting (I have no patience - I’d be the world’s worst wildlife photographer) and started looking around. I shot this as a long exposure (you can see slight motion blur on some of the masts) on the tripod from the end of the pier looking across St Kilda harbour to the city.

Print comes with the white border, ready to go into a standard A3 or A2 frame. Archival paper using genuine Canon inks. Sent rolled in a heavy duty mailing tube usually within 2-3 days. Print only (unframed). Postage is $15 flat rate in Australia ($25 overseas). All photography, processing, printing and posting done by me.
