I always get asked where I shot this from so, Montmartre, specifically from Sacre-Coeur, that big church on top of the hill. I wanted to get inside the church and climb up the bell tower so I could get a good view of the Eiffel Tower but they weren’t letting people up that day so I had to look around and see what else I could shoot. I liked this image when I took it but nobody really noticed it until I printed it as an AO, custom framed it and hung it on the wall. Then everyone seemed to notice and like it too. For this image, size seems to matter.
