Manhattan, New York

This one, as many would already know from having taken the same shot, was from 'Top of the Rock', which is the observation deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza (also where the sitcom '30 Rock' was shot). Every observation deck / sky deck / viewing platform in the world should copy 30 Rock and cut holes in the glass so you can stick a camera lens through. It makes a huge difference. I'm sure it's easier to do here because it's an outdoor deck with glass surrounds and not the windows of an enclosed space, but surely there's a way. Reflections are why. That and the glass you're shooting through isn't made for photography so the quality of the shot drops. Being able to shoot from an observation deck like this unobstructed is a bonus.
